Bald Eagle - Tulelake Bird Refuge
Klamath Basin is a bird lovers paradise with over 350 species of birds making their home in Klamath Falls all year or during migratory season. The Klamath Birding Trail website provides more information for the bird enthusiasts. One of Klamath Fall's biggest event is a three-day winter wings event every President's Weekend in Klamath Falls. The Klamath Basin Audubon Society produces the event opening with a flyout to watch hundreds of eagles who roost at the Klamath Wildlife Refuge.
There are several biking and hiking trails available throughout Klamath Falls Basin. You can try Moore Park located on the southern shore of Klamath Lake, the Link River Nature Trail along the historic Link River, or the Downtown Historic Walking Tour through downtown Klamath Falls. There is Lake Ewauna Wing Watchers Nature Trail along Lake Ewauna with an abundant waterfowl and wildlife. The OCE&E Woods Line State Trail, a 100-mile rails-to-trails conversion is paved from Klamath Falls to the small rural community of Olene providing a scenic mixture of ranch lands, rivers and forested buttes.

Historical museums and sites
Collier Logging Museum
Klamath Falls has a wealth of historical sites available. The most comprehensive online resource outlining the history of Klamath Falls Basin and surrounding is the Oregon History Project. The project is a combined effort with Oregon State University historians and several government agencies who were influential in the growth of the Klamath Falls Basin. Klamath Fall's s rich with tribal history, lumber and agricultural development as well as historical government interest in water development and conservation of the Klamath swamplands, lakes and rivers. If you are a historian buff, there are several museums with three museums located in downtown museum. The Favell Museum boasts one the three best collections of western artifacts and art in the United States. The Senator Baldwin Hotel Museum houses Klamath Falls history and what was a former National Guard Armory in the 1930s. The Children's Museum of Klamath Falls includes exhibits such as "Our Town" (a child size world of common environments where curiosity and role playing are nurtured with costumes and tools of the trade). Expirementation Stations feature rotating exhibits like lightning balls, gyroscopes and microscopes.Seventeen miles outside of Klamath City one can enjoy logging photos and logging equipment at the Collier Logging Museum, an outdoor museum located near Chiloquin, seventeen miles outside of Klamath Falls.
Golfing
Klamath Falls offers to golfers, five courses across the Basin offering premium green turf. The Running Y Golf Course boasts the only Arnold Palmer golf course in Oregon and Harbor Links Golf Course is nestled on the Southern Shore of Klamath Lake.
